Hi everyone!
I wanted to write a quick post and give a HUGE thank you to the person that left us a very large donation of books last night. We arrived at the Beyond Pages warehouse to find thousands of books left on our loading dock, and we are so very grateful for this wonderful donation that I couldn’t overlook this. To the person or group that left this donation for us last night (7/15) THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
For our customers that have experienced the postal service error recently, we have looked into the situation and it looks as if the USPS has discovered the problem and has dealt with it in correct fashion, so this shouldn’t happen any longer. Again we apologize to those who had experienced delays from this situation and I thank you very much for your patience and understanding!
Before I leave, I wanted to give you four quotes that I found very inspirational over the past few days:
God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?”
~William A. Ward
He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.
~Epictetus
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
~John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don’t unravel.

Have a blessed day!

Just a quick post to remind everyone that if your region has been affected by this huge winter storm, please don’t forget the ones who may need your assistance. Many of us have neighbors, family or friends who are elderly or disabled, and those with these types of situations many times cannot help themselves with snow, ice, or a mixture of both outside. Something as simple as retrieving mail for your neighbor can be a huge assistance. Examine their situation, and if possible, help them by cleaning off their sidewalk, driveway or stairs, give a helping hand if you can to make this world a better place for everyone. After all, you could be in their shoes one day, and always remember, what goes around truly does come back around.

As many of you know, there was an issue with Amazon that caused us some problems over the past few days. I’m very happy to report that the issue has been resolved, and to everyone who signed our petition, you have our most sincere gratitude, we couldn’t have done this without you! Human compassion and kindness never ceases to amaze me, and for all of the thoughts, prayers and support everyone provided, myself, my family, and everyone here at Beyond Pages thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. You have truly made a difference.
With utmost gratitude,
Larry Mayfield Jr.

As some of you may know for the past several weeks we have been battling a pretty fierce virus that infiltrated our system along with several instances of malicious software that disabled our business for many days. The headache has finally been completely resolved and I’m happy to announce that Beyond Pages is back up and fully functional once again.
A BIG thank you to everyone of our customers who had patience with us during this time. I know it wasn’t always easy, as some of you were college students needing textbooks in a certain time frame, others who were delayed prior to Christmas with a few orders, but there were so many of you who were so very understanding, some offered assistance, others simply offered their support and prayers, and for all of this I cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you, a million times over!

There’s an exciting new service that’s doing a lot of good for so many, yet they are still virtually unknown. The site is www.goodsearch.com and basically for every search you do through them, you earn your favorite charity funds per search. The search engine itself is actually powered by Yahoo search, so you’re getting the same results as you would by going to Yahoo directly, with one big difference… you’re giving back everytime you search for anything! Two of our non-profit partners are supported through this service, Make It Right Project 9 and North Shore Animal League. To give money to these very worthy non-profit charities, simply visit goodsearch.com, enter the name of the charity you are wanting to donate to under the icon that says “Who Do You Goodsearch For?” and then search like you would normally… it’s really that simple!
