Finally Back Up And Fully Functional

Monday, January 21st, 2008

As some of you may know for the past several weeks we have been battling a pretty fierce virus that infiltrated our system along with several instances of malicious software that disabled our business for many days. The headache has finally been completely resolved and I’m happy to announce that Beyond Pages is back up and fully functional once again.

A BIG thank you to everyone of our customers who had patience with us during this time. I know it wasn’t always easy, as some of you were college students needing textbooks in a certain time frame, others who were delayed prior to Christmas with a few orders, but there were so many of you who were so very understanding, some offered assistance, others simply offered their support and prayers, and for all of this I cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you, a million times over!

Instead Of Yahoo, why not try GoodSearch?

Monday, January 14th, 2008

There’s an exciting new service that’s doing a lot of good for so many, yet they are still virtually unknown. The site is www.goodsearch.com and basically for every search you do through them, you earn your favorite charity funds per search. The search engine itself is actually powered by Yahoo search, so you’re getting the same results as you would by going to Yahoo directly, with one big difference… you’re giving back everytime you search for anything! Two of our non-profit partners are supported through this service, Make It Right Project 9 and North Shore Animal League. To give money to these very worthy non-profit charities, simply visit goodsearch.com, enter the name of the charity you are wanting to donate to under the icon that says “Who Do You Goodsearch For?” and then search like you would normally… it’s really that simple!

Our first blog post!

Monday, January 14th, 2008

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting our little corner of the web. My name is Larry Mayfield Jr. and I’m part-owner of a little company called Beyond Pages. As you might already know. Beyond Pages is a social enterprise located in Bonne Terre, Missouri, which is just south of Saint Louis. We just revamped our website with the help of Veteran Web Design (www.veteranwebdesign.com, thanks Donnie!) we are now up and running! BTW, if anyone needs any webdesign work done, these guys are amazing. Totally top notch. Just had to mention that!

Well, as stated in the title, this is our very first blog post, you will be seeing many more in the future. We’ll use this space to keep you updated on what exactly Beyond Pages is doing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to help make this world of ours a better place. If you don’t already know what we do and who we help please visit our website at www.beyondpages.org for full details!

We will update this blog as often as possible, so feel free to visit often. There will be other authors on this blog as well, anyone associated with Beyond Pages is free to post, so it could get interesting at times! Stay tuned…

With much gratitude to everyone who has made this possible (you know who you are!),

Larry Mayfield Jr.
